As Mom continues her never-ending quest to lower our expenses, we decided to look at some different options for our cell phone plan. As it turned out, we were able to significantly lower our monthly rate while increasing our data coverage - and get new phones! Mom now has a nice smart phone (which enables her to see the great photos you guys send), and I was able to upgrade to a phone that actually works the way it should all of the time. And it only cost us the better part of a morning at the T-Mobile store. Yea!
So after we spent some time setting up our phones and installing necessary apps (LDS Tools, Gospel Library, etc.) what's the first thing we do? Take pictures, of course. (Use a phone to make phone calls you say? That's just crazy talk.)
So here's Mom and I sitting on the couch downstairs. . .
And here's our feet. You know, just like if we had traveled to some fun destination and wanted
to show you where we were. Someday we'll actually have to do that again. It's been a long time.
One of the things that has kept both Mom and I busy lately is Ward Conferences. Besides speaking in sacrament meeting, I talk to the Youth about Patriarchal Blessings and visit Priesthood, Relief Society, and Primary meetings. Mom does a great job leading off as the Stake RS Presidency teaches in each ward. We've not yet been able to travel together to any of these, mostly because of my other responsibilities before and after meetings. But Mom enjoys traveling with the rest of the RS presidency anyway.
